When do we bake our pies?
We’re always baking fresh throughout the day! We don't reheat and no large trays for us. We bake in small batches, individually
Do you do gluten free pies?
While we would love to have an option for our gluten free friends, we are yet to find a product that provides the same flavour and quality as we one we use now.
Do you have any vegan or vegetarian pies?
Vegan no, Vegetarian yes!
What matcha do you use?
Matchamatcha! It has such a beautiful flavour and we're glad you guys like it too. You can order matcha here and read more about their brand here.
How should I reheat my pies?
We recommend a preheated oven at 150-160 degrees and a fully defrosted pie. Cook for about 20 minutes for a perfect pie party.
Do you take requests?
Of course! If you've missed out on a special or have an event coming up let us know and we'll see what we can do.
What time do you sell out?
It can be difficult to predict exact sell out times, as it always depends on the business of the day and the size of the orders placed. We always recommend coming before lunchtime to ensure you have a larger selection of pies to choose from.
Do you offer wholesale?
No we don't.
Where can I find the special?
Our special of the day can be found on the blackboard by our menu. Or we generally advertise on social media on the day of! This is not something we plan out in advance and very rarely do we run our specials for longer than one day. She rare.
How often does the menu change?
Seasonally! So four times per year.
Do we do catering?
No we don't.
Can I hold pies?
Due to the size of our pie warmers and the volume we go through every day this is not possible.
Even if I pay in advance?
We still don't have the room to hold pies. If you have a large group coming in we recommend getting here before 12pm to ensure more of a selection. You can email hello@salutpies.co.nz and let us know when and roughly how many people you're expecting and we'll do our best to make sure we've got extra!
